Compliance and Administration Apprentice
To work a variety of shift patterns between 8.00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break per day
Ensure all staff remains compliant with NHS staffing framework requirements including training, DBS, right to work, documentation, proof of identity, references, feedback forms and other requirements as stipulated by the framework agreements
•Prepare staff files for audit processes
•Participate in the audit process to guide agency processes, policies and procedures
•Communicate information to all staff (office and employees)
•Assist with client complaints
•Complete risk assessments in relation to offences on DBS certificates and liaise with NHS trusts/master vendors
•Ensure staff are able to work in the UK, seeking assistance from visas and immigration where necessary
•Follow data protection laws, disposing of personal information as per current guidance
•Interviewing Healthcare Assistants
•Complete bookings using various booking systems
•General administration tasks
•Extensive use of Microsoft Office including specialist booking software
•Other general office duties as required
•There will also be training provided in the payroll and invoicing systems to provide temporary cover
•20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday
£243.75 per week, 37.5 hours a week.

We supply HCAS to hospitals within Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry. Nottingham and Warwick.

Please note the advertised salary includes rolled up holiday pay. Basic pay rates are between £8.07-£13.13, with unsocial hours payments included for weekends, bank holidays and night shifts.
Responsibilities and Duties
•Ensuring the safety of patients and staff in a hospital environment
•Supporting patients who have major mental illnesses including personality disorders
•Supporting patients on a 1:1 basis with dementia
•Physical observations including temperature, pulse and breathing.
•Mental Health observations
•other duties as directed by the qualified nurses.
Qualifications and Skills
•at least 6 months mental health/learning disability/dementia care experience working as a HCA in hospitals, nursing homes or residential homes
•experience working with patients who have mental health illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder and personality disorders
•Able to work long day shifts from 0700-2000
•NISE Nursing are not recruiting for staff to do night shifts due to the work available.
